We as her children lived and learnt Khacha(R) distillation from her operations throughout our life. Distillation is in our 'blood'
Today under our mother's inspiration and teachings we double distil her original recipe into a unique world class quality product: NKOPE VODKA, tested by Stellenbosch alcohol laboratories, Approved & certified by South African National Food Safety and Quality Assurance Directorate. Licensed by Limpopo Liquor Board. Led & managed by the elder son, Dr Diale, N. R. (PhD), our distillation master, who founded NKOPESTILL DISTILLERY in 2020, in honor of her legacy, and in commemoration of a decade of her passing on.

Dr Diale Nkgodi Race (PhD) (Cert.Sc.Nat) Born 27 June 1961. Distilled KHACHA with mother, Nkope since 1972 at 11 years of age. Passed matric in 1981. Worked as unqualified teacher for three years, 1982-1984. Acquired Diploma in Agriculture (Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture, 1987); Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Management (Technikon SA, 2000); Masters degree in Development (University of Limpopo, 2005); and PhD in Development Studies (UNISA, 2009) Worked as extension practitioner in Dept of Agriculture since 1988 to 2014. Worked as Lecturer at Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture since 2015 to 2016. Published Three articles in an International peer reviewed journal, the South African Journal of Agricultural Extension. Published quite a number of conference papers about Agricultural Extension and Climate Change topics, in the Proceedings of the Annual Conference of the South African Society for Agricultural Extension (SASAE) Supervised a number of Masters and Doctoral students for University of Limpopo & University of Free State, and Da Vinci Institute. Served as Agricultural Extension Examination Moderator for the Madzivhandila College of Agriculture and University of Mpumalanga. Served as Editorial Advisor to South African Journal for Agricultural Extension. Invented and patented Water Efficient Gardening Technology branded as GARDENIZLY in 2014. Retired 2016. Went private 2017. Founded NKOPESTILL Distillery in 2020. Acquired Liquor Micro Manufacturing License 2024 May to produce NKOPE VODKA from mother’s recipe
